This just stops me dead in my tracks. There is something profoundly moving in the cadence and phrasing that really hits a deep spot. Beautiful almost beyond words. |

The choir sounds thin against the organ and additional instrumental backing. This psalm, which after all begins "ALL people", demands - particularly with this setting - a large choir, or a congregation. Oh dear! never thought I would criticise Kings. |
