The mixtures are too loud and high pitched. This is far from a "baroque sound." Listen to a Silbermann organ and compare!

Enough with the constant reeds already! The monotony kills the beauty of this great work. And why or why Franck on that screeching faux-Baroque Holtkamp with almost no fundamental 8' stops? What a miserable instrument.

I fully agree. And the lack of casing doesn't help the sound either - not speaking about the disastrous visual aspect of this forest of pipes... |
