Sorry,this Allen sounds to me like a poor imitation of a pipe organ,so as good as the performance and work are,the effect is diminished.

really not convincing. obvious electronic sounds do not help here. other transcriptions sound much better (and are played on pipe organs)

Hard to know what to listen for with these MIDI recordings; agree that the organ sounds poor. He should be able to play this performance on a better organ, yes?, and that might help quite a bit. Because I like this piece on organ, and I think I like his registration choices. There is a substantial amount of artistic effort present in these "bits", I think, even though it's not "real playing".
