Quite a different reading to my "reference" Vogel Buxtehude set, but still superbly played. It's surprisingly nice to hear this piece with a brighter, more forward feel than Vogel's sweetly wistful, meditative reading. This is interesting enough to temp me into getting a second Buxtehude set. |
