I totally agree with the earlier comments. Fox was at least technically proficient. Perhaps the explanation for this way of playing Bach is to be found on Mr. Fejko's web site. I'll not try to paraphrase his words - that would be a "spoiler".

I agree with the above comment, too. Perhaps it's explained by the name of the CD, "Incantation." Incantation = a series of words said as a magic spell or charm. So perhaps the artist is under a spell which makes him play Bach at the speed of a tarantella! |
