David N. Johnson's setting once published in Minneapolis by a firm known as Augsburg. What a powerful piece and a glorious toccata ! The piece truly shows off a large segment of an organ -- everything but the strings and celestes. LOL That Contre Bombarde on the final two chords truly gives Mr. Johnson's piece finality.

It is regretful that more organists don't play the music of Seth Bingham. Cadences always go in an unexpected path, of high interest, not maudlin or contrived. The result is music that touches the soul. I have forgotten the lady's name, but at least one person has done a doctoral dissertation on Bingham's musical output for the pipe organ.

OrganLive plays Mr. Bingham's music quite often. Perhaps you do not listen enough?

Perhaps not, Trichter.

It's working !!! Thanks be to GOD for the great tune "St. Anne" and for Mrs. Knoche's ability to play its Descant on the antiphonally placed (Bombarde division) Trompette en Chamade singing over the remainder of the organ's selected stops for this track.
