This version of Morning Mood, played by Clay Christiansen is awesome. However, this piece of music performed at Mormon Tabernacle Organ is much better! I love it anyways! |

IMHO too dry acoustic for this romantic cathedral music...
By: brentj on Dec, 07 2010
Agreed, not quite the acoustic required for romantic French organ music.
By: churchmouse on Jan, 27 2011
Yes, but imagine that you are staying at this hotel, then you walk into the music room and there is this organ- you wouldn't worry about "dry acoustics"! |

An unsuccessful transcription
By: churchmouse on Dec, 20 2010
Oh, I don't think it's too bad. I've heard worse. I think this works better on this organ than French Romantic organ works!
By: churchmouse on Jan, 31 2011
I would like to hear this done as a piano and organ duet.
By: MusicDonor2014 on Aug, 26 2015
Churchmouse - have you made the transcription for piano and organ for these gentlemen?
By: Sunday Afternoon on Apr, 04 2020
Yes, not convinced by the transcription. |

As my friend says:"Molto Schmaltzondo"
By: vause on Feb, 18 2013
Great organ and organist; and I truly love schmaltz once in a while, too! :)
By: nigh on Jan, 05 2015
Yes, and if you were as old as I am, such schmalltz would bring back a lot of memories too.
By: tonithepipe on Aug, 26 2017
...in this days.....we need "schmaltz" sometimes....as a hard contrast to organists who treats the instruments more than playing... |
