Rather disappointing, surprisingly, due to the over-florid decorations at the start and the hurried and "busy" nature of what followed. The technical ability is, as ever, utterly flawless but this performance fell horribly flat. The 'grave' lost all meaning with that shrill stop on the right hand, and I'm afraid I lost interest around there. |
