I like it, slow and reflective. And not ear-piercing!

Slow and reflective, okay. But the chorale states "Wachet auf", not "Schlafet ruhig". Not ear-piercing, true (some other organist use a quite shrill voicing, agreed). But the chorale states "ruft uns die Stimme", not "fluestert uns die Stimme" ! Karl Richter seems deeply asleep and hears only from afar a dim voice :-)
