This album is fabulous. If ever in the LA area, go to the Cathedral; it is unreal how powerful this instrument is live

Beautiful showing of the strings in this wonderful instrument.

I could tell it is FRED SWANN playing before I even looked. Unmatched sensitivity, contrasting registtrations within the same family of sounds, and solo of the melody and pedal movements not in the score. Thank you FRED for allowing yourself to "play for the people" and not the purists or the collegiate ones who thrive in killing the love of "our instrument."

One of my favorite hymns amazingly played! I feel like I was wrapped in a warm blanket. (Or perhaps the Spirit of God descending on my heart?) I can't believe I've never heard this track before. What a tenderly sensitive rendition. Thank you Mr. Swan!
